Fast and Easy Sticky Orange Tofu

If you need one tofu recipe that will work perfectly every time you make it, here it is: sticky orange tofu.

This is a fast and simple recipe that will make your tofu finger-licking good! In case you need more than that, add some parboiled veggies like cauliflower or broccoli, or replace tofu with tempeh. Remember that cooking should always be fun!

Drain, press and pat dry tofu with paper towels. Dice it and toss with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.

Blend all sauce ingredients in a blender or food processor. Alternatively you can grate ginger and garlic and mix them with the rest of ingredients.

Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry tofu for about a minute on each side until golden and crispy. If you like your tofu extra crispy, fry it on every side. I’m extremely lazy so I just toss the pan several times.

Add orange sauce and stir for 3-5 minutes until it’s thick and sticky.

Serve orange tofu over rice with sprinkle of sesame seeds on top.
