Coconut Bacon (vegan, GF option)

Vegan crispy and slightly spicy coconut bacon.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, liquid smoke and spices. Add coconut flakes and gently stir to coat everything evenly.
  3. Spread onto a non-stick baking mat or greased baking tray.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes stirring it every 3-4 minutes. Keep an eye on your coconut bacon at all times so it won’t burn.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool. Store in air-tight container.
